Wine and Dine at India’s first exquisite Heritage Winery Resort
The beautiful Tuscan-style boutique resort is situated at the site of Sula’s historic first winery which heralded the birth of Nashik as India’s premier wine region.
Established in 1998, Sula Vineyards, India’s leading wine producer paved the way for the emergence of Nashik as India's Wine Capital, thus pioneering the wine tourism movement in India.
Adding another ‘first’ to its accomplishments, Sula Vineyards announced the launch of the country’s first heritage winery resort – ‘The Source at Sula’.
The resort not only showcases an exquisite Tuscan theme, but also opens up to the stunning views of the vineyards.
Surrounded by the Deccan hills and stretching to the beautiful Gangapur Lake, guests staying at The Source at Sula can soak in the allure of the mountains and the scenic surroundings.
The Source at Sula has 23 unique rooms, including the gorgeous Tower Suite, with its unparalleled vistas “like a Van Gogh painting” in the words of Sula Founder Rajeev Samant. There are also four charming ‘closer to nature’ Tree Houses.
You won’t lack for activities – The Source at Sula comes with facilities like a swimming pool, tennis court, spa, gym, and restaurant, along with Sula’s signature wine tourism activities – winery tours and tasting sessions with the winemakers.
Monit Dhavale, Head of Sula’s Hospitality Operations said, “People from all over the world want to come stay at our vineyards which are now world famous. Our other properties Beyond by Sula with also Sky Villa are very popular and have their own charm but we could not think of a better place and experience to offer than one at the building of our very first winery.”
Next door, guests can enjoy sunset views at the Tasting Room or grab a bite at Sula’s restaurants Soma and Little Italy.
For the outdoor junkies, bicycles are provided to amble through the vineyards and rural roads.
Cecilia Oldne, VP- Marketing and Global Brand Ambassador, Sula Vineyards said, “We have retained much of the Rahul Mehrotra designed winery’s original structure and added a Tuscan twist to it! You really feel a part of history spending time at The Source at Sula. It’s truly a stunning property and a must visit!”
Launched this month at Sula Vineyards, the tariffs for your next getaway start at INR 6,500 + taxes.
